Library guides are resources created and maintained by CSM librarians with information on specific topics. Guides can function as a sort of "digital handout" that you can link to for students or use as a reference for yourself.
CSM's library guides generally fall into a few categories:
General Guides - information about research, information literacy, and other topics not related to one specific discipline
Library Resources - includes overviews of various library services
Research Help - general research help and suggestions for different types of assignments (such as annotated bibliographies) and types of sources (empirical research, literary criticism, book reviews, etc.)
Faculty - resources for faculty along with general guides that can help your students
Citation Guides - overviews, examples, and links to resources about citing sources
Subject Guides - basic overviews for getting started with research in specific disciplines
Use these guides to help your students by adding links to your MyLearning course, your syllabus, or other documents.
