Learn how to use NoodleTools to create citations and manage your research.

What is NoodleTools?

NoodleTools is a research management tool that helps with:

  • Citing sources (including in-text citations and reference lists, works cited lists, and bibliographies)

    • APA Style (7th ed.)

    • MLA Style (9th ed.)

    • Chicago Style (17th ed.)

  • Taking notes

  • Organizing and outlining research

When generating citations, NoodleTools formats information and puts it in the “correct” order for whichever citation style you are using.

All current faculty, staff, and students can use CSM’s NoodleTools School Subscription through their current CSM Microsoft 365 username and password. See the "Accessing NoodleTools" tab for more information.
