Course reserves (or "reserves") are library materials that are available for limited check out (often in-library-use only) in order to allow all students in a specific course to access the materials. Reserves include items such as textbooks, media, or suggested/optional resources for specific courses at CSM.
Course reserves may be located at one or more campus libraries, or they may be eReserves (available online).

To support the Students Helping Students Initiative, the CSM libraries will be accepting donations of recently assigned or still in use textbooks and other required class materials.
For more information or questions about the types of materials that may be acceptable donations, please email library@csmd.edu.
At this time, the library is not able to purchase every textbook for every course offered at CSM. However, we do accept and appreciate donations or lending of personal copies! Students appreciate this option--especially if the textbook is fairly expensive, the bookstore experiences backorder or supply chain issues (delaying when students receive the book they purchased), or students have free time between classes and want to get ahead on their reading without lugging their personal copy around.
If your department is able to purchase extra copies (or acquire additional instructor review copies), we are happy to add these to our Course Reserves. Please contact the library at library@csmd.edu for more information.
