However, here are some generally acceptable uses of AI related to research:

Understanding nuances of human-to-human communication

May inherit any biases present in the data/content used to train the AI tool

A "Spotify" for papers, this tool lets you add papers to collections, helps you keep up on the latest research, and learns from your activity to improve recommendations based on your interests.
Connected Papers
Research is a conversation, with papers responding to previous ideas and building off of each other. This tool creates visual graphs showing how papers are connected. These graphs can help you find sources cited by a paper, newer sources that cite an old paper, and related content.

One of the most popular generative AI tools, ChatGPT is chatbot and virtual assistant that can be useful for brainstorming.
