NoodleTools: Cite Sources in Your Paper

Create In-Text References in NoodleTools

1. Open your project's "Bibliography" page. Find the source you want to cite in your paper with an in-text reference.

Find the source in your bibliography you wish to cite


2. Look for the options directly to the right of the source you want to cite. Click the "In-text reference" option.

Click the In-Text Reference link


3. A pop-up box will appear; enter the page number(s) where the quote or paraphrase appeared in the original source (1). NoodleTools will automatically format the in-text citation (2); copy the citation (including the parentheses!) and paste into your paper at the end of the quote/paraphrase.
